New Short Story Published

Rocky Mountain Fiction Writers have published Crossing Colfax: Short Stories by Rocky Mountain Fiction Writers. The anthology includes “Crossing the Uncanny Valley” by Martha Husain, a science fiction short story set during an Artificial Intelligence machine apocalypse.

Kal and his small band of human survivors are hoping to make it to safety in the Cheyenne Mountain missile bunker, but run into trouble on the way through Denver. What they discover there could be make mean more humankind than just the survival of their group. But not everyone agrees how it should be used. And Kal has to decide to where to draw the line for what he is willing to do to survive.
